Synkera's products are based on nano- and microstructured materials and advanced methods for their integration into functional devices. We offer three main product groups:

Chemical Sensing and Analysis

The first is a broad group of chemical sensors and related devices. Synkera's sensor technology is bridging the gap between the low cost of traditional solid-state sensors and the performance of liquid electrolyte electrochemical sensors.

Ceramic Membranes and Filters

The second product group is comprised of membranes for filtration and separation in gases and liquids and related applications. Our membranes are based on self-organized nanoporous ceramic that supports highly controllable nanoscale morphology and composition, enabling high performance, reliable and cost-effective solutions in a diverse range of applications.

NanoCeramics

The third product group includes a broad range of NanoCeramic-based offerings with performance and benefits engineered at the nano/microscale. These include nanotemplates, substrates for bioanalysis, ceramic microcomponents, functional coatings and nanocomposites.

Synkera is continuously performing research and development in the areas of nanofabrication, microfabrication, advanced materials, sensors and nanomembranes. A large amount of this is funded by the government's SBIR programs and another portion is funded by private industry.

Synkera is ready to assist industry in carrying out advanced research and/or development. This could either be a funded effort by industry partners, or a partnership with Synkera to secure an SBIR contract.
