A large portion of Synkera's product development efforts are based on a unique nano/microfabrication technology platform, which affords multiscale engineering and device integration of advanced materials. At the core of this platform is the synergy of two capabilities: templated nanofabrication and micromachining, both based on nanostructured anodic aluminum oxide. Templated nanofabrication is extensively used to enable the desired materials properties and architecture. Flexible Ceramic MEMS processing provides a convenient route for device integration. This technology platform was successfully used to develop and produce a number of products with performance enabled by nanostructured components.
