Synkera's ceramic and nanocomposite membranes are based on a unique nanoporous material platform with precisely controlled pores and very low defect density.  This platform enables a variety of separation modalities, from highly selective permeance through thin active layer(s) to different transort rates of species in high aspect ratio pores to size-based separation. 

Using this platform, our membranes are being enrineered to support numerous gas separation and purification applications in addition to hydrogen purification.   Examples include:

• Helium recovery from gas streams with low concentration
• Separation of hydrocarbons
• Particular control in ultra pure gas streams
