Nano/Microfabrication
A large portion of Synkera's product development efforts are based on a unique nano/microfabrication technology platform, which affords multiscale engineering and device integration of advanced materials. At the core of this platform is the synergy of two capabilities, templated nanofabrication and micromachining, both based on nanostructured anodic aluminum oxide. Templated nanofabrication is extensively used to enable the desired materials properties and architecture. Flexible Ceramic MEMS processing provides a convenient route for device integration. This technology platform was successfully used to develop and produce a number of products with performance enabled by nanostructured components.
